Deal Or No Deal the popular TV game show that has swept the world in the beginning stages of the twenty first century is nothing less than phenomenal in the game show arena. This enormously popular game show that consist of choosing the right briefcase that has a hidden cash prize was started in 2001 by Dick de Rijk in Holand. Although most people might think that it was started in 2005 by Howie Mandell. The premise of the game is fairly simple but at the same time offers a degree of excitement as contestants make the choice to deal or no deal. The game starts with 26 briefcases that contain values in the amount of 1 cent up to 1,000,000 dollars. At the outset of the game the contestant chooses one briefcase for themselves that they believe holds the most cash. The player then begins choosing cases for rejection and removal from the game. At the removal from the game the amount inside the case is revealed. So through the process of elimination the contestant tries to figure out if the case that he has originally chosen is valuable or not. During the course of the game as cases are being opened the contestant will be offered a sum of money that he can either take and end the game or reject and keep going. If he takes the money its Deal, if he declines the money and keeps going it is No Deal. This keeps going until there is only two briefcases that remain and the contestant is given a final offer. If the player says No Deal then he is given the option to swap his case that he has originally chose for the other case. The game is then played out and the contestant has either done well by saying No Deal or they have missed the boat. All the boxes are open so the contestant knows whether they have messed up or not. Deal Or No Deal has enjoyed tremendous success on the airways since its inception in 2001, but its didn’t stop with the television arena. It also is now has an online version that is available for people to play. So now people all over the world can enjoy this game via the internet.
